I serve on a voluntary county emergency response team
with this wonderful man named “Jack”.
Jack is 90+ years old, drives and volunteers at his local
police department among many other things. This man
LIVES LIFE, and his thoughts and wisdom I believe can be
quite valuable to all of us…….who will listen.
Below is what Jack sent me today and what I wrote back;
Sir, you are without a doubt one of the finest gentlemen
I believe I’ve ever had the honor to meet.
Your sense of humor, kind heart and willingness to serve
others has always been an inspiration to me.
You are correct, you are indeed “the last of a breed”.
The world has very much benefited from folks like you.
And how this world will deteriorate without your
voice of wisdom.
Please Jack, don’t ever give up on us!
