'86 250R. I bought this bike earlier this summer, but don't have time to ride it like I'd like to. From the previous owner, the motor is suppose to have been ported, bigger jets, and it looks to have a DG pipe with a Cobra silencer. I honestly don't know if anything else has been done. I do know it was about a dead even race with my cousins Banshee (which is jetted/piped). Whether that's good or not, I don't know.
Basically new Maier rear fender, front fender, and shrouds (all with original type stickers in place). Also comes with the original front fender and shrouds that aren't in too bad of shape, and with the rear fender that was on it when I bought it (has a good crack in it though)
Chain and sprockets are fairly new, front tire is probably 50%. Rear tires are Razr look-a-likes with good tread. Also comes with the stock rear tires, and an assortment of rims/tires I got with it (mostly not good though).
There is no front brake assembly (previous owner removed for some reason)
Rear brakes work fine, but the brake cable is actually from the front brakes (I was told the previous owner had an extended swingarm on it, with I did not get)
Overall a decent bike from what I've seen around.
The frame appears to be kinked up at the top rear, which makes the trike set crooked. I do have an '85 frame that comes with it that was powdercoated red, as well as another '86 swingarm I had powdercoated red.
Also comes with a Honda short track tank kit (tank+shrouds) that came with the bike when I got it, as well as small odds/ends.
My plan was to swap out the frame/etc. to make a very nice R, but like I mentioned, I don't have the time to ride, let alone do this work.
I should be able to get some pictures up this weekend if anybody is interested.
Price is $1,500 for everything.
I have no problem if somebody wants to take it for a test ride to verify how it runs/etc.
