8.8/suspension advice?

My family and I are redoing a house, its going a lot better/faster than expected. For once I'll be able to have my car apart indoors for a days, and be able to fix/upgrade stuff. My POSI is so/so, I'll be doing 3.73 gears, clutch pack, lower control arms in a couple months. Any recommendations while I am under there? I've never done this before, so it'll be a trip..

The car makes maybe 220ish hp, its a T5 trans. I understand the 8.8 is strong, and I will break my T5 again. This is my summer driver/weekend racer. This winter I'll have either a nitrous/C4 setup, or a 351.

Just for video reference, this is what my car is doing. It does mid 1.8 60's
6K Clutch dump on 26/8.5/15 MT ET Slicks
This was a 5.5K Clutch dump
 
Yes, twice so far. Once back on the 23rd of April and just last Saturday. It has also been my daily for a couple weeks now.
 
x2 on welding your torque boxes, 6k with slicks will rip them apart fast. look into the battle boxes.
