wht u dont understang??? mini tubbin a notchback seein if anyone has done it and what is the lenth u have to have to make tire fit good with 15/10 inch rim with 6.5 back spacing

You don't even have to shorten the rear end, a 10" with a 6.5" bs looks OK with stock length, but would look a bit better if the rear was narrowed an inch per side.

Most places like Team Z and Skinny Kid shorten the housing until the 9" bearing end is up next to the lower control arm mount. With it set up that way, you would need a 10" wheel with a 4.5"bs or a 12" wheel with a 6.5" bs.

right the wheels fit they just hit a lil on the outer lip and they are rolled, so basiclly just need a inch off on each side and that would mean a coil over kit also???

tghen maybe ill have to look more at it cause only 1 side rubs not bad just like a lil bit. i have aerospace rear brakes are your stock brakes???

yes but no joke mine a really not even fully rolled its just a very little bit.Thats why I commented cause it shouldnt be that much to get them to not rub.

My 88 hatch has a 10" rim with 6.5" backspace. Wheel lips are rolled. No rubbing at all. I had to hammer the living shit outa the inner wheel wells though.

If Ur going to mini tub it, do it once, do it right. Run a 12" rim with 6.5 bs, with big bearing housing next to lca. Yes you need a coil over setup for this . But you shouldn't need a mini tub for your current combo

You left out nickle welding the tubes to the center section and adding a few support braces to the tubes.
Since the housing will be disassembled anyways, its a good time to add a billet cap to the left side and a stud kit.

imtelling you guys that it rubs on the outer lip????

Re Roll the lip. we have a car with teh same rim and aerospace rear drag breaks and it works just fine. It's very tight but it works. Theses lips were rolled tight. Those brakes push the rim out a hair. Do you have C clip Elims on the car? They will help move the wheel in a hair.

I had 10" 6.5 backspace with stock brakes on my last car. Even with it lowered with the top of the tire tucked in the well it cleared just fine. Make sure your rear is centered in the car too.
