8.8 5 lug 31 spline (Shorter Passenger Side ONLY - 27.620 in.)

I have an exploder axle laying around. Whats the length you need?. I only have 1 axle, so im not sure if I still have the short or the long.

Lol... no shit Sherlock... I don't know if I have the long or the short since I only have one.

Let's try this. From the wheel mounting face to the end of the axle it about 27 -3/4. Since the other guy had a 29-1/2 I'm thinking this is the short side.

Bearing and seal land is in good condition. 4 good studs, 5th is busted. It's been sitting in my basement for a few years. I was going to do the same thing to my axle for my 53 f100. I might have a clean diff cover as well.

5th of Jim Beam and it's yours. Im hkme today and live near 696 and Orchard Lake.

Tough weekend , but anyday next week I probably could coordinate working it in your schedule. What is best for you?

I found a complete axle for my use. $75.00.

let me know how this goes for you. While it sounds straight forward, I guess drilling out the plug holding hte axle to the center is a straight forward, but getting the tube out is a BEOTCH.
