79-82 mustang side molding

I'm trying to collect parts for my car and I cannot find the side moldings for my car 79 mustang hatchback Ghia the trim on mine is shot for the most part I've tried LMR with no luck dose anyone out there know of a place that re pops them or has nos molding?

ive seen people remove the metal insert and heat them up but that guy I told you that has the doors has a mint set on the car with the doors

i doubt you'll find any nos. 79 -84 use the same moulding. the only difference is the color of the stripes. (insert). try part# D9ZZ 6120938 DZ, rh door mldg. with silver stripes. (the most common). D9ZZ 6120939 DZ. lh door mldg.

I tried locating all nos moldings with money not being a problem. I failed miserably for over a year.

i'm surprised no one is re-popping them. they finally make the 85-86 mouldings. perhaps the early ones will be next....:dunno:
