I know a guy who did the Buick aluminum block 215 swap into a Vega wagon, it weighed 40 lbs more than the 4 cylinder it replaced. Somehow he used a four or five speed trans that was in the car, but drove it easy since the tranny was the weak link, followed by the rear end.
That is a good price with all the extra thrown in. GLWS
