70 camaro lanch issues

it seems really weak off the line at the track

70 camaro, 355, 12.7:1 CR, dart pro-1 230cc, 2.08/1.60, 64cc chamber, victor jr intake(IIRC), cam is iirc .633/.633 solid roller(better specs later), power glide w/trans brake, ladder dana 60 rear w/ 4.88 gears, and 32 tall slick(exact size later)

I am kind of thinking converter, it stalled near 5500 behind his big block, but i am thinking it is stalling too much lower behind the lower torque small block?

he is opposed to nitrous, but I have him thinking about a converter if needed, and he plans on new slicks

car weighs 2800# w/driver
has 1 5/8 headers on it now, better ones will be acquired if you think they are needed

TC is a ATI 8" treemaster MRT 3.5+ stroke(per the reciept)


cam is a CC grind # CS 40315/4074
SR108 .900 base circle
gross valve lift .630/.630

heads are dart pro ones, 230cc 64cc chamber
