69 mustang project

A buddy and I are doing up his 69 mustang for WW this year and as of last week this is what it looked like. He did all the body work and sprayed it primer. Sent the engine out to get some machine work done. Just a mild built 306, 11:1, .488 .510 lift, 235 245 @ .050 doug herbert cam. Heads are 351 heads with chevy valves installed. Trans is a c-4 with a 3000 stall, and rear gear right now is a 3.08 but after the cruise will be changed to like a 3.73. I talked to him this morning and he sprayed it like a navy blue with a lot of metalic in it so I will take pictures of the car this weekend and will post them. But here is the car as of last week.

Troy police were pretty cool last night at 11 when we were breaking the cam in......hahahah That cop BS'd with us for like 45 minutes and just told us that we have to NOT run this open headers until 8 in the morning cause people 4 blocks away were calling...ahahahha

bullet hole in windshield?

my '69 coupe is on temp hold... just sitting there in primer. I uncover the engine on the engine stand and look at it every once in a while.

I have a '70 that is basically a donor car

naaah the troy police officer told us that the hole in the windshield is not from a bullet rather more like a pipe or a blunt force object....ahahaha That was part of the conversation too! The guy drove it to the exhaust shop yesterday to get his exhaust put on and today is the windshield. It will be on WW this year with no hood because we can't find one yet.
