64 stang help

On a friends 64 mustang 289. The power steering only works on the left, when you turn it to the right no power steering.
Any ideas??

Ford didnt use a rack & pinion steering In a mustang untill 1974.

Usually a bad steering "equalizer" or "balancer", not sure of the correct name, but it's on the steering linkage, driver's side, has the steering lines going to it. Does it do this with the car not running as well? if so, then it's likely a bad steering box. You should find an old mehanic to look at it, the steering balancers are pretty hard to get right.

some of those equalizers/balances/valve bodys had an adjusting screw on the end
