PICS ADDED 62 vw beetle- would like to trade- PICS ADDED

Hi, Ive got a really solid 62 beetle- fresh paint- (decent) two tone pea green and beige with steelies and wide whites. very solid car with no previous rot or patch panels. Car has all new brakes, hard lines, hoses, wheel cylinders- the works. new pro street aluminum beam front suspension hub to hub. 6 point NHRA legal bolt in roll bar. 12 volt conversion, dual port motor currently stock but runs great. Basically I wanted a very stock looking quick beetle. Just about everything is there but the stroker motor. I have lots of extras to go with the car depending on the deal. I CAN NOT send picutes over the computer but I CAN send pics to a camera phone. If your from Port Huron you might have seen the car up at mobile a few weeks ago. Tom and Flip have both seen the car as well.

Im hoping to trade for just about any 2 door V8- mustang, capri, fairmont, ranger, malibu, S-10. I figure my car to be in the 5500-6000 dollar range. Im looking for an even trade, not looking to trade up. Let me know what youve got. Thanks for bearing with me through that.......

The floor pans are great- no rust and original, not cheap repacements. Ive got a few extra og german fenders, extra super solid and nice door, a used t3 turbo and holley 600 ( were going to be used on the motor I wanted to build). Ive also got a set of like new steel wheels with the wide five pattern( was going to widen 2 of them to stick with the stock look) Got some extra trim pieces. Ive also got a case and heads that would be close to original for the car ( stock 36 horse single port).wide five to chevy five lug adapters. I was going to use this stuff to barter with back and forth for the right car- some or all. Depends on the trade.

Hopefully theres pics here

Man, with all the Port Huron guys giving my car props, Im almost thinking of keeping it. Thanks for all the kind words guys. Really I didnt think my car was going to go over well but Im thrilled.

You're going to think I am crazy - lol - but whats it get for fuel mileage?

heres a shot of the underhood- this meatal is usually missing, cut up or rotten in much newer beetles than mine. In the side shot you can sorta see the front end- dont have any pics of front on my computer. Up to 1966, beetles had a much cooler front end. The headlights were oval and kind of layed back into the fender rather than straight up like the newer beetles(67 and up). Much more of a classic Porsche look up to 66. Also the taillights are much smaller ( less gaudy) and the window openings are much smaller. 62 is where its at.
