61 pounds and counting..................

Well,

I started out doing Body for life in michigan. I picked that diet because it seemed the most healthy. (that and my Brother worked with the 1999 female winner She also rented a house in plymouth from my folks) I worked out religiously 6 days a week and dropped 43 lbs. Then I plateaued So I thought I needed to "shock " my system again I change my diet to newtra system (plus a few other upgrades) and changed up my routine in the gym. It worked in the past month I lost the other 18lbs

My diet is:

Neutra system breakfast
8oz Milk
and an apple or bananna or orange juice

Lunch is

Nutra system lunch
a Quality protien
and a quality carbohydrate
(my favorite is a egg white cut in thirds sanwiched the individual thirds between two Triskits to get 3 mini sanwiches(get the olive oil and cracked pepper triskits they rock!!!)

Mid day snack is usuallt some nuts a stick of string cheese or an apple.

Dinner is another nutra system dinner
with good salad (as much diffrent vedgtables as I can find)

after dinner snack is one of nutra systems snacks

In between last snack and bedtime I have a protien shake.

Also an hour after my workout I have a myloplex.

My workout is

Monday: upperbody and arms

tuesday: 30 min cardio (bike or treadmill or elipitcal)and abs

Wed: Legs

Thursday: 30min cardio, abs

Friday: core

saturday: 30min cardio and abs

I'm very dedicated to the gym (hell, I dont really know anyone here in raleigh so I have nothing better to do LOL) and it's showing I look like a NFL linebacker right now.

I am on the path, my waist is 6 inches smaller my arms are much bigger and my legs are starting to fill out my cargo shorts.

I'm going to make the next girl I have a relationship with a very lucky one.:naughty:

Good job Craig!!

If you want to get Al's input theres a special forum on Detroit Racing called "the gym". Theres some diet/excercise discussion in there that might interest you.

Congrats on sticking with it!

I lost a whole bunch of weight around 2000-2002 (from 310 to 230), but I put it back on. This makes me want to get my big ass in decent shape again.

And all I have to say to anyone who wants to lose weight, it is a whole lifestyle change if you want it to be permenant. You have to change the way you eat and what kind of exercise or workout you do, permenantly. If you go back to your old ways, you WILL gain it all back and maybe more.

Amen to that....thats why I say its not a diet. Instead its a new lifestyle and a better way to live.

Since August 21st I had a slight reprieve when I moved to Raleigh (took 3 weeks to find a new gym.)

Cool. Thanks again for the info. This thread has inspired me to go to the gym for the second time today.
