OK, here is the short story, I put head studs and gaskets in and it started and ran real rough. So I was taking it to the dealer for a power balance test and it died! cranks but will not start. I know it has to do with the HPOP but can someone point me as to what I could be doing wrong? any help will be great.

If it is not getting fuel it probably is something to do with the hpop. If not I would say it could be a cam or crank sensor or a icp sensor. Had to do all of the above on my 6.0....

Start by checkin icp pres must have 800 to start if low check for leakes inj seals ect after starting takes about 20 miles to get all air out of hi pres oil will be hard to start until all air is out Also if it will start unplug inj one at a time you will find it if its bad

thanks guys....I already put a ICP switch on and it did not fix it:(

So now I am going to pressurize the HPOP system and see if I can find the leak. Do the HPOP go bad? It was running great before the oil cooler imploded and filled the coolant with oil! So I did the head gaskets because it was leaking a little and I want to up the boost now.

Any more ideas? thanks

If you air the system you must put 12 volts to the ipr valve hpops go bad but not often you probably have a bad oring or ripped one on instal ive also have seen the top inj seal get damaged on oil rail install and do the same thing you described it will run till the pres pushes it out Check icp pses first if its up its not a high oil pres problem
