$500 winter beater wanted

There's a neon in my industrial park for 850. It's on Morelli drive in Clinton township. Those are great little cars. I had one for years.

Yeah. Usually. But, I've come across MANY vehicles for around $500 that run. Bought a ranger for 100 once and another for $600. It boils down to being at the right place at the right time with cash in hand.

My question is, when was that?

The used car market has changed BIG TIME in the
last 2 years - prices are way up on most everything.

There will always be those rare, not your normal "great
deals", but even those are becoming few & far between.

correct, a non running car can be scrapped for 250-300 with out to much effort,

around my area a running and driving car 1500
running and driving truck 2k minimum

i have a 20 year old truck with 300k and have a line of people ready to buy it I get asked weekly if I wanna sell it

this.. or take it off for a few weeks and re list with diff pictures for 1000..

people likely think its a gigantic pile of shit for that cheap and dont want to mess with it.

ITS ON CL FOR 675 WE HAD IT ON THERE FOR 750.00!
THANKS for all the input if not maybe we will just keep it as a shop van and use it for scrap

In 1991 I bought a '81 Cordoba for $80. Drove it for three years after putting a $20 battery in it. Of course, it had a unicorn hood ornament on it...:lol:

I hate to have to agree, but the cheaper the car
the more work to sell it.

This has been my experience over the years. The cars
Under $3,000 are much harder to move than cars
$4,000 to $5,000 and above. The cars below $1,500
have been the most difficult to sell by far.

I completely agree to raise the price as high as you can
& post and re-post it on several Craigslist sites.
