5.0 running rich, don't know why???

Car is running great but seams to be extremely rich. It's a 5.0, b303, gt40 heads, 1.72 rockers, cobra intake, 24lb injectors, cobra mass air, long tube headers. What should i look at first, could new o2 sensors help. Also on the coolant temp gauge, just gets over the mark over the 130. Also have 180 thermo. Thanks for any help.
 
Did it just start running this rich when you put these performance parts on, or just all of a sudden??

is that mass air matched to the injectors...02's, if yout Tstat or sending unit isnt working maybe it thinkgs its running cold so it richens up?....
 
The motor has been the same since 1995. It runs great and no problems. I was reading that maybe the coolant temp sensor going bad and keeping it in open loop. Not sure on that but worth a try with a new sensor.
 
Like you said thermostat could be stuck open . . . or you could have a problem with the fuel pressure regulator. Have you checked to see what exactly the fuel pressure is at? That will help diagnose.
 
start with a cheap code reader and see what codes it has. The ECT could be the problem. Mine was bad and would pop and barely run untill warmed up when it was going bad.

What pcm is in the car? Cobra maf and 24's need the cobra PCM, IIRC.
