4th Gen F-body Question - What ET would it have ran

We sold our Trans Am a couple months ago :icon_frow

I miss the car to death but with only me working we could no longer swing two sports cars so they had to go and we got our Viper truck, but anyways:

Nicole (my fiance) has been wondering what her car would have ran in the 1/4 mile with some decent drag radials. Here's the specs:

2000 Trans Am

3600 RPM Stall
3.73 Gears
Detroit Locker
LS6 Intake
P&P Throttle Body
K&N Cold Air Induction
Catback
Subframe connectors

And then I tuned the transmission for shifting much faster, but that's the only thing that was tuned. It would squak them into third after that.

Anyways, can someone give me an estimate of what it would have done in the 1/4 mile??

12.2 or 3's at 109-110 if it was a strong runner (in ideal weather). maybe a little less due to no suspention mods.

worst case, Ive seen some slugs that should run that kind of time; but wouldn't break 13's.

:werd: The numbers above are a little aggressive. It sounds like it had very similar mods to my '02 Z28 and the best thing that saw with drag radials was a 12.56 - but that was with true duals. With a catback, it slowed down a little to 12.7's.

not so much.

My good friend ran a ton of passes in the range I was talking about. The best runs were in good (for MI) air, but still close to what I posted.

mods were:

2000 formula
Lid/Filter/ super sucker ram air
Bassani OR y pipe and Loudmouth catback
Predator programmer
3.42 gears ST3500 on ET streets

12.15 @111.3 00 Formula hdt minus spare, jack, and front swaybar.

so this car had less gear, no ls6 intake, no locker, and no TB. It probably was slightly lighter tho, due to it not being a T/A.

Faster than 12.5 as long as it hooks.

My car with stock converter and 2.73's went 13.0, my friends convertible with a 3500 SSF went 12.4

smooths green 98z went 12.4x at 114 (before he owned it)
stock ls1 intake and tb
3800 TCI ss converter
315 wide drag radials
headers
true duals
pcm for less tune
slp lid

that pass saw the end of that 10 bolt however

Al's car was a bit of a freak IMO...

So was yours.

Definitely not the norm if yall spent much time in the stands watching others run...

Another local guy had a 01/02 SS, bought the same converter as my friends convertible, he was pretty deep in the 12's. Had headers too.

I have a 01 WS6 and best run was 12.8 @ 108 mph. It had MAC midlength headers on it and a SLP whisper lid. Automatic, factory tires.
