I am looking at purchasing a 4 post lift. The Titan SDPL-7000XLT lift is what I have considered the most.

Has anybody here ever owned a Titan lift? How does the construction look? I am using it to pickup a F150 (6000lbs) and a Mustang (3600 lbs). Do you think this is an appropriate model for that?

Does anyone have another lift to recommend? Thanks for your time!

Call my buddy Don. He owns Dows Equipment. He sells new/used lifts and has helped a few buddies out with great deals. He will educate you on them as well. 734-722-3697. Tell him Mopar scott gave you his info.

Never heard of them, hard to tell by the pics but doesn't look very strong to me. Would probably be fine for storing a car over the winter, but for regular use I doubt it would last too long. We get flyers often for Bend-Pak at work, they seem to make a pretty strong lift for cheap, made in Cali IIRC, not promoting them, just sayin.

I wouldn't use a 7000# lesser known lift to lift a 6000+# f150, and I don't like how far apart each lock catch is, looks like 8-10"

My buddy just bought one from that place out of indiana i think it steve smith or something like that? Very good quality and easy to assemble/use. My brother has a two post from the same place also a very good lift. They advertise in the auto rv magazine all the time. Thats who i would buy from.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I really like the Bendpak. However, by the time you buy the accessories you need, I am looking at about $3300. The Titan is only $2000.

I will have to check their lifts out.

$3300 is a great price for a 4-post. If you plan to use it for more than storage, I'd steer clear of the Titan.

It depends on what your using it for. Light duty, extra space for a vehicle, buy a cheap one. Commercial use... buy a rotary. Nothing comes close (except a US built Challenger)

I am definitely leaning towards the Bendpak HD9XL now. It is a ALI certified lift. It is still Chinese made, but it is American engineered.

Checked the tag today and you're right, made in China.......could never tell though, very strong lift.

I have two Aresco lifts from Pontiac MI. one at my house one at my parents, made in the usa never had a problem and there good people to deal with.........
