4.6 4v roots blower?

Found this and I'm very curious if anybody has ever seen anything like it. I know there were some early prototype supercharged b-headed cars running around. The lower manifold looks legit. Any insight? Seems like it may be a cobbled mess.

That looks like an old M90 that came on the 3.0's and it has been retro fitted with a V8 lower intake
