Last week I took a customer car to the track and had some fun. I just wish the track was "on jam" so I didn't have to leave from idle and roll into it.
The car was nearly 4,200 lbs. with me in it. It's definitely a handful and would be much quicker with an auto. Last year, I managed a 9.9X pass on the 20's, but it left perfect.
The last Shelby we built was the same way at Milan. We went 10.60's @ 136-138 mph, then the customer went to NED and it went 9.70's @ 146-148 consistently. I may try a slick on this car in the coming week to see if we can get a 9-second pass at Milan.
Even if we don't go 9's next week, it's still a ton of fun on the street.
