$4,000 budget on a vehicle

looking for something for my wife , needs to be a 4door and automatic , not to picky but it does need to be a 2000 or newer , prefer smaller SUV but like I said im not picky ill entertain just about anything at this point , let me know what you got , no BS on my end , cash in hand , rather not go the craigslist route

I have owned all of those cars. The only one I would probably skip is the explorer. Mine had tons of issues, ridiculous ones. Stuff broke that never breaks on any normal cars.

Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor

My first thought when seeing this post was a old cop car.
Ok on gas, safe, nice DD, cheap 4 door.

The funny thing is there are 5 & 6 foot snow drifts blocking this poor car in
the pole barn. I have to find a way to dig it out from out back. Also note there are
several spots where the factory white paint flaked off, just needs a touch up.

The antennas bases have been removed as well. The tires will need replacing.
Nonetheless, That’s a lot of car for the money.
