aren't all stock 351w external ballanced??? i swore i read that both 302's and 351's were external balanced.

That's what I thought. Would you happen to know where I can get a stock replacement crank for a 69 block?
Summit has tons of cranks, as does Jegs..but their all for strokers mostly. summit has one that matches what I need, but it is set up for internal balacing. Do I just have to make sure the machine shop knows about that when it comes to balancing? I don't want to run into any problems

I'm not sure were to get a stock crank. I would look on the boards for crank that uses the newer one piece seal.
Definitely tell the machine what your balancing for i.e. balancer, flywheel, crank. They need to all match. And you should supply them with all of it when balancing the rotating assembly.
