These cleared my roller rockers when I had them on my Pantera..I actually had Crane BB Chev rockers on my engine, because they were cheaper than the Cleveland rockers....
I'll probably be running shaft mounts, if i go with a standard I'll most likely be running a girdle either way I'd like to get some tall ones. Just wanted to see if maybe someone had some ford talls laying around.
When I sold my Pantera, I put the tall chrome Morosso valve covers on..I can tell you something about running a stud girdle on a Cleveland, right from the guy who invented it. For some reason, the stud girdle doesn't help the Cleveland. We were one of the few racers who ran a Ford in our oval track car. We used to turn about 8,500 RPM and did testing with and without a stud girdle. The verdict is the Cleveland is the only engine that performed better without a stud girdle...My racing partner was Jomar who invented and patented the stud in the 60's...Here is a picture of our race car..You can see the Jomar and Ford on the fender........
Thanks for the Info Engine really isn't a Cleveland just has Cleveland Heads More of a Clevor I'll get back to you on the covers they are kind of cool looking just have to make sure they will clear my rockers. I'll make some phone calls and get back to you.
