275/40/17 help ?!?

So im looking at 275/40 drag radials on my car.
My question is, would they work on a 8'' inch wheel
Ive been doing my research and alot of people run them.
Also, where could I go to get them mounted?

they work, call mccormik racing they mounted my new wheels and tire on my car for fitment, thats the best way to do it.

It's not ideal. An 8" wheel should not have anything wider than a 245. 275's will give you a lot of sidewall squirm, but for a set of drag radials, it works okay. You should really look to find a 9" wheel for 275's.
