So the car is now sitting on jackstands in Tony's (Dark Horse) polebarn getting all the sound deadening beaten out of it by Brad (ChunkyBS). Stan (Non-MM Member) is inspecting the underside of the chassis to see how much rust is going to need to be cleaned off so he can get the cage welded in as well as the seams and torque boxes reinforced.

Last night I picked up *almost* everything else I need to wire the car. I have a single wire alternator I traded for the stock 3-wire alternator, wiring, heat shrink, solder, and connectors.. All I need to get is the toggle switches from Summit, an ignition box, and fuel pump.. (Thanks Evan & Raj for hooking us up!) Jeff should be picking those up.

This weekend I am going to start to clean up under the hood some more and prepare to run wires to and from the trunk for the fuel pump and sending unit...

It shouldn't be long before we have this beast making some test drives up and down the country roads! :D

Pictures to come soon! :D

Engine is almost completely wired, and you barely see anything! :D

The thin red wire is loosely laid there, it's for the electric choke..

:) This car isn't too bad for being built on such a small budget!

Cool project.

I assume you are prepping it for Toledo? I'll be racing there with my team, in the "Chia" Neon. It'll be our third LeMons event. Prepare to have a blast.
