So my buddy just leased a 2015 Silverado for 200.00 a month 4x4 v8 4 door short box, it got me thinking i am due for a new truck. Does anyone here drive a newer Silverado, i was wondering what you guys think of the truck. I wanted a f150 but they are a little more money for the lease, this seems like great deal.
Thanks motown

Seems like a deal..

I drive a chevy silverado every day...usually 50k miles a year. In my last 500,000 miles, 3 trucks, i've had no issues other than u joint replacement around 100k miles.

I honestly cant say that about the 2 fords i had. They chewed up tires, needed engine accessories replaced, and required brake maintenance (my last chevy went 265k on factory brakes)

I will say the ford looks better and the 3.5 Eco/5.0 engine seem more interesting than the 5.3/6.2 engines...but....chevy pushrods have never failed me..

Aside from natural highway robbery of insurance cost, under 200 is a deal. Dodge Ram's usually are the affordable leased truck, but chevy is catching on?

best deal right now is 319.00 per month, with 27xx.00 due at signing, for returning leases, 20k miles over 24 months

I just turned in my lease on my Silverado with a pull-ahead. (6 months) and got my payment 125.00 cheaper. was 369.00 and now 237.00 for 12k miles and it is a 24month least. put 237.00 down.

Suburban Chevy A2...

My brother got zero down and 260 a month. Crew cab 4x4. 10k a year for 3 years, that was last month.

That's a pretty damn good deal... but both the Ram and the F150 are better trucks, IMHO. However, considering that most people will never use it for any serious work, it's worth a look. Myself, I've only ever used my pickup trucks for hauling motorcycles and any of the options would work just fine.

GM is trying really hard to make a dent in F-150 this year. They have had slow sales, so they are buying market share with crazy lease payments. Ford has countered, but not that low, Ford has a supply issue where GM doesn't. GM is also on a two year old restyle, so they don't have to sell value in a new truck.

So i ended up picking up a truck today i got a 2015 Silverado 4x4 V8 4 door, all the bells and whistles for 240 a month 500 down for 2yrs 12k miles. I wasnt able to get the GM employee discount from anyone or else it would have been cheaper. Figured that was a pretty good deal. I wanted a F150 but i didnt think they could come close to that price

Great deal, I wouldn't think twice about it if I was in the market for a truck.
