2014 Ford F-150 Tremor debuts

I was excited to see it when I heard about it a couple months ago, but to be honest I'm a little disappointed in the final product. It's basically a glorified FX2. I was hoping it would be a bit more unique.

I like the center console, 2 seater idea, and it'll be a fun truck, my only question is whether or not 4x4 will be an option

I think the designers got to pick parts from the parts bins only. The new truck is coming next year so I'm sure the bean counters finally gave in to the guys wanting to do this. Needs to be lowered, stripe removed, windows tinted and tuned.

Yes, it's a parts bin special, but a decent one. I agree with Matt, lose some of the visual flair and add go power and you'll have a solid little truck. It would make a nice little tow rig and the occasional trips to HD/Lowe's.

My guess is it'll be around $33k for the 2WD and $37k for the 4WD model. It's essentially an FX truck with a different grille and Raptor gears, and some options cherry picked from higher trim packages.

Parts bin or not, I dig it. Well, I don't care for the stripes or old man running boards on a 2wd sport truck.

I like that they did it. It isn't something I would buy though. I'm a big fan of regular car short bed pick ups though. I just like the way they look. And they are still perfectly functional. Hell, the Lightning was even a step side so less bed space yet and the entire shell of a Mark VIII still fit in there to haul it in for scrap.

No sound system details? Tremor was an audio package I thought... Cool truck though. Get it around 25 grand and i'd be interested.

Yeah I'd lose any running boards, the graphics dont do it for me either, but that's easy to change.

Like Matt said, small drop, tint and a tune and it would be a pretty cool DD.

Ill see it soon when it comes down my line at work, we heard about this truck a while ago. Kinda cool but should of made it a bit sportier imo, better front bumper, lower stance, wide wheels and meat, exhaust. Other than that i told the ppl on the launch crew its just a reg ford truck we build, with some goodies that's gonna be overpriced.

They could have made a Sy/Ty kind of thing but this needs lots of aftermarket shit to make it kool. (jmy.02)

I like the idea of a sportier turboed v6 truck, but think the appearance should be a bit more distinguished from the typical F-150 packages (lower, bigger wheels, lower profile tires, and a manual transmission). IMO This truck should have been produced 3 years ago when the ecoboost was released in the truck.
