hahaha

the only prospering US auto maker building cars that romp those two.
Yeah good thing

I think the car looks great and the SRT8 stuff I have ridden in / driven was very well done for a 4 door platform car.

The crate "392" that came out last year was rated at 550 hp, so I wonder what the differences are with this engine. The intake now looks like composite material instead of the sweet looking aluminum one. Great engine none the less. And yes, the wheels look kinda heavy. Glass looks awfully "dark" for factory which looks good.

Crate motors don't have all the emissions bullshit when they get rated, do they? I think they have different testing standards...I'm sure someone on here knows for sure.

Pretty sure I heard this car is even heavier than the outgoing Challenger. Did anyone see the 1320 skunkwerks Challenger in Hot Rod? They shaved 300 pounds off of it....and it still weighed 4100.

The limited edition SRT cars(the first 1492) have absolutely atrocious interiors.

FWIW I'm pretty sure the 470 is pretty conservative...but it seems more manufacturers are erring on the side of caution lately.

VERY nice...always loved the styling of the Challenger...one of the very few retro themed cars that was done correctly.

It has mds, and has to meet emissions, and the power band is alot better, they went for getting the hp up through out the band instead of just peak power

Its an active intake manifold short long runner

just balooned dynojet numbers, the 412hp 5.0 mustang made 395 on the same dyno

i am pretty sure that 470 is a consistent crank hp from my buddys at auburn hills.
