2010 Mustang deck lid advice

I want to replace the deck lid of my 2010 to a non-spoiler variety. What is my best course of action? Search for one at a junk yard and paint it? Order new replacement? I need it in Grabber Blue. Any contacts or ideas would be much appreciated!

I helped a friend of mine do this on his car, he found one at a junk yard that was the same color and in good shape and swapped it out. The color matched you'd never know.

The junk yard bought his old one off him so he saved some money, not sure what it would cost to have the current one filled and repainted.

Agreed it would be best to buy a spoilerless one and have it painted to match. Hell you might find a guy with a base model or GT willing to swap for the Gurney spoiler on your Shelby. You could also remove the OEM spoiler and have the holes filled and repaint it (that's what I did on my Cobra).

Also, let me know if you decide to get a new one, I can get that stuff at cost.

Thanks guys. I'm just thinking a spoiler less deck lid might be hard to find in salvage. I have no experience with parts pickin at all. And I think I'd just probably want to keep the Shelby parts. I'm bad at selling stuff :)

I'm looking into it, I just wanted to tap the deep well of knowledge on MM first. :)
