But compare it to the new M5. With the LS7 and Brembos, it'll do everything that the M5 will (and do it better) for less money. The M5 starts at $81k right now.

Expensive is all relative. Compared to a Ford Focus, it's expensive. Compared to the M5 (it's main competitor) it's a bargain.

No the CTS is on a different platform. But the Camaro platform would fit a LS7 so I would say yes that is always a possibility........

this is correct..although i cant say this "officially" but the ZL1 nameplate will return with the LS7 between the fenders, and will spannk the GT500
