2007 Mustang GT, gear change, speedo calibration question

I have an SCT xcalibrator II tuner that I got with a modded focus I bought. It has the tune for the focus on it. Can I use this same tuner to do a gear change speedo correction on an '07 Mustang? The tuner just says FORD on it, not Focus. Yes, I am ignorant.

yes you will need to make sure it has been unlocked and then get a new tune for your stang on it. bama, vmp, crt performance. a few off top my head that does email tunes.
 
You will need to return the stock tune to the focus, then unlock the tuner to use it on the Mustang IIRC.

Well then I will need to go another route. The Focus has headers, big cams, cam gears, ported intake and CAI so it can't go back to stock and still run.

Thanks for the info. Maybe somebody has a used tuner or software they'd sell.
