I have a 87 noth with a 04 cobra motor and trans in it. It was my uncles project he was working on before he passed away about a year ago. He had motor, trans, computer, and wiring harness already in car it just wont turn over. I was told it had a lock on the fuel injectors. Can anyone help me?

Not sure about a lock on the fuel injectors but what about the inertia switch?? What about the neutral safety switch??

EDIT....do you have any other information?? Do you have a OBDII port you can plug into? Are you tuning the car yourself with PRP? If so, are the injectors firing when you try to start the car?? Do you have fuel pressure etc. Also you said you have the motor and ECU but what about PATS?

Honestly Im a 5.0 guy. All I know its there. I could pay someone if they were interested in some side work. It means alot to my family to get this thing up and running. Some of you might know my uncle David Fawly R.I.P. he was big in the mustang scene around Westland.

I have all kinds of information at my fingertips and datalogging software to help to (if you still have the OBDII port on the wiring harness). I can even show you the wiring harness manual. I'm not a tuner but I know enough to be dangerous.

If you need some help let me know.

could the security be enabled?
they won't crank if it is but I don't think that would be an issue with a swap.
Pm rickety.

new info

Sorry for the double post. I just tried starting the car it is wired up and turns over. The only way to keep it running is to spray starter fluid in the air bevel. I think the the computer has a lock on it. We dont have the original key could that be the problem?

?

Does anyone know the number to a guy name Lido. Ive heard that he is one of the top mustang guys in Michigan to help me with this problem. Does anyone know where he works?
