Looking for a little help. Helping friend of my brother. 138K on this Explorer and it stalled and would not restart. Previously found poor ground circuit between fuel pump and fuel pump module located in "D" pillar. Truck ran for five days and stalled again. I have spark and injector pulse, but no fuel present at fuel test port. I can run pump at pump connector, but still no fuel present at the fuel test port. Idea's? Or I'm gonna have to call myself defeated as the pump, fuel filter and fuel pump control module and a ground wire were replaced. Gonna have to send her to the dealer if I cannot get a "clue". Any help is appreciated.

Again, 2004 v6 4.0 liter Explorer flex fuel vehicle.

so this happened after the parts were replaced?
if the pump runs and there isnt pressure i bet the feed line in the tank came off

No happened before parts replacement. Farking Ford diagnosis without Ford scanner kinda left me hanging until I found out where they hide all the relays, control modules and switches in the fuel pump circuit.

Anyway, thinking I still have a wiring issue as the ground circuit from the pump to the fuel pump control module showed continuity, but would not carry current. Fixed that but had replaced the pump, fuel filter and pump control module before finding the poor ground-(I wasn't taking all those parts back off). Truck ran for almost 6 days, no issue. Then started and stalled per the owner. Again, no fuel at the test port at regulator, pull the line just past the fuel filter and guess what, there is fuel in the line.

Because it's a flexfuel system and electric returnless, there are all types of controls, modules, relays, etc in the fuel circuit on this thing. Hoping a Ford tech was online feeling generous.
