2003 Chevy replacement key.

Lost my truck keys somewhere in the snow . Anybody have the ability to cut a factory key with VIN? Does not need to be ASAP, Tuesday is fine.

Usually only the dealer can get the key codes from manufacture. Also there is a cut off date for how far back they system stores this info unfortunately ran into this once. They many not still have the data for a 15 year old vehicle.

What do they need for proof of ownership to cut a new key?
