2003 5.3 truck engine.runs good.

I have a good 2003 5.3 engine iron block aluminum heads. I bought a wrecked truck and pulled this engine and have kept it as a spare for my nova but I just bought a 6.0 so this has to go.

it is complete minus the alt but has all brackets and p/s pump , good running engine I drove the truck . $450.00

the reason im gauging interest is I offered it to a buddy of mine and he has not told me he doesn't want it yet but he is deep into a different project now and im about 80% sure he will pass or I whouldnt post it.

engine has almost 200k . I bought the truck from the original owner . has ran royal purple oil sence new.

no harness or computer. but all the pigtails are there to build a microsquirt harness that was my plan.
 
Hell I would've taken that one too if I knew you were planning to sell it when I was over last week!

I can vouch for Mike. I've bought a 5.3 off him before and it was everything he said it was.
 
sorry about that. at that time I was keeping it. just got the 6.0 Saturday. both the 5.3s were good running engines.
