Here is the build sheet on the car. It is a World Rally Blue 2002 WRX sedan. The chassis has 127k miles on it, the engine about 60k. The motor was professionally built and mated to very good JDM heads. This combination will handle 8500rpm and just about any amount of power you can throw at it. Just after the motor went in the seals blew on my big APS SR50 turbo and then lost interest in spending more money to mod it. The stock turbo is on there and you can drive it, but it really needs a tune and some sort of bigger turbo. What I would do is buy a used STI turbo (they can be had for ~$300) and then get a professional tune done. This should make the car extremely quick and fun to drive.
The car needs some attention but the interior/paint/general condition is still in pretty nice shape, considering the miles. The trim in the trunk has gotten a bit banged up from a hockey bag going in and out a couple times a week, but nothing major. The clutch should definitely be replaced if you do any sort of turbo upgrade. It will likely need to be changed regardless in the next few thousand miles. The engine alone was right around $10k and it has never been raced, since my big turbo blew up and the little stocker went on with no intentions of ever racing it with that configuration.
NADA lists clean retail (for a stock, 127k mile vehicle) at $8275 and I think the KBB is just a bit lower than that.
I would put the car between good and excellent, then I'd like to get at least a couple grand for the parts that are on the car now (minus maybe the gauges as I may want to keep them). I would prefer to sell whole, but will part out if need be, since I'm fairly certain I can net a couple thousand dollars from just bolt on's and accessories and then I would still have the engine that I could technically swap out with someone. $10,000 would be hard to turn down, so that is what I'm going to ask. No trades.
