Well, i bought this truck just about 2 years ago bone stock 80k miles for a dd so i could build my 82 firebird. We'll needless to say i got a little bored with my DD being bone stock, soooo i did some small things, tinted the lights and debaged it. A few months after that the truck got keyed so i started a paint job on it, which turned into doing a 4/4 drop. Well needless to say it hasent ended there after the last year i went 5/5 drop then did some minor bolt on's 3:73 gear and a tune. At that point i decided ive waseted so much money on this truck it would be best just to off the firebird and keep putting money into this. So i Offed the firebird, bought a new DD and pulled the 4.3 and been working on gettin it ready for the new lil sbc :secret:

Heres a few pics of what it looked like when it was still my DD

It should roll out pretty good when its done , progress got slowed a littel over the last few months sice i just purchased a house but now that im all moved work starts again!

Actually i have been patiently waiting for this thread ;)

I have always wanted to do this.

Haha, well thanks guys. Not gonna lie i wasen't sure if anybody would even be intersted in this build hahaha. truck went 15.40's with the 4.3 in it. Hoping for somehting just a smidge quicker.

I was going to go with an lt1 in mine. I am pretty sure it wouldnt require a ton of fab work. Plus it would be cheap and still be fuel injected. I decided to just get a 4x4 and lift it. That project is long gone, but it was pretty cool doing the research and making the plans.

I love Kev daddys build! lol

I always wanted to put a ls1 TT in my four door blazer with a astro van AWD drivetrain!

Kev's should move out pretty quick!
