2001 Arctic Cat ZR 800
I have had this sled for about 5 years and it is time to sell it! I just don’t use it enough to justify keeping it. The sled has never been wrecked and has about 2200 miles
Mods & Recent Service:
Aeroquip fuel system with billet fuel filter
V Force 3 Reeds
Modified air box
Trail ported by One Stop Performance
Jugs are shaved
Fresh nikasil last year on both jugs <500 miles (I had to send the jugs out – not cheap!)
New pistons/rings/pins on both sides last year <500 miles
Full Cometic Gasket set
D & D Y Pipe
D & D Single Pipe
The y-pipe and expansion pipe have been Jet Hot coated
MBRP Can (Muffler)
2 degree off set timing key
D & D Clutch kit including billet helix
Brand new jackshaft & driveshaft bearings <500 miles
Aftermarket gearset (I don’t remember the tooth count!)
Fresh coolant & chain case oil this year (I change them every year)
All new heim joints & bushings in the steering this year
Stock track with 192 Woodys gold diggers
3" Powermadd bar riser
Powermadd bar hook ends
Billet brake lever
Brand new extra Arctic Cat belt
Arctic Cat Green Accessories – Bellypan, grill covers, snowflap (snow flap is brand new – I lost mine up in Gaylord on my one ride this year)
Tunnel is polished
Front shocks were replaced with brand new Arctic Cats ones (including springs) in '07
All the bolts on the front suspension were changes to stainless so they wont rust
This sled is extremely fast – it is not very often I get beat in a drag race. It is in great condition for a 2001; the paint has a few minor chips and the a-arms are starting to surface rust but overall it is very clean. I have a dual sled tilt trailer that goes with it as well. I am looking to get $2799 obo for both the sled and trailer.
I would consider trades for the following:
-8.2 deck SBF 4 bolt shortblock (looking fir a 4 bolt block assembled to replace my sportsman)
-FAST system for a SBF; prefer XFI but would consider a classic. Bank to bank or sequential let me know what you have (would need cash on top of this one)
-Tig welder – looking for a miller right now but would need cash on top of this one as well
-Anything else interesting? Shoot me an offer!
