2000 Taurus bumper support removal

Need to remove a damaged front bumper cover support on a 2000 Taurus.
It appears to be held to the frame rails by 4 bolts a side and 2 spot welds per side.
I'm thinking drill out the spot welds and remove the bolts.
I can't find any additional info on this....can some one throw me a bone? Body guys?

It is welded and bolted, the spot welds aren't that easy to drill out without a spot weld bit, but good lucky with it.
