I have a 2000 SVT Contour for sale. This was a buddy of mine's car. I bought it for the wheels and a few other parts to use on my Focus but I have since gotten rid of that car. The car has 143K miles. The body is in pretty rough shape with a lot of rust along the bottom. Not sure what is wrong with the motor but he said he was driving it about two months ago and it just quit. It was making a ticking noise in the top end so he suspected something in the head. Not sure thought.
As I said the car could be fixed pretty easy. I believe this is the same motor as a Cougar and there are a ton of them out there. Or, it could be parted out. As far as the SVT parts are concerned, it has good front and rear bumper covers, one good side skirt, good white faced gauge cluster, good wheels and tires, good brakes, etc. The car also has a good 5 speed trans which is a bit hard to find in these. The interior is pretty rough but could be cleaned up and there are good parts there. It does have a nice aftermarket Alpine CD player.
I am asking $800 OR BEST OFFER. If you don't have a way to move it I can deliver within an hour of Brighton, MI for $100 to cover gas and stuff. Let me know if anyone is interested. Call Mike at 734-323-665 FOUR.
