2000 Honda CR 250

I have little to no time for this anymore and it's just taking up space. This bike was bought new by my brother and I've owned it since 2005.

The plastic is all original, it's scraped and bruised but nothing is cracked. The bike isn't all raced out. The top end was freshened up when I bought it, I believe I used a Wiseco piston but can't say for sure. It has a gripper seat on it, Renthal twin wall bars and a Pro-Circuit shorty pipe. The tires are in decent shape, the rear tire is starting to loose some outer lugs.

The frame has a dent in it and the pipe is pretty banged up. Still in good shape for being 10 years old imo.

I'm not really sure where to price this since it's been a while since I've payed attention. Looking around online didn't turn up much.

I'm looking for 1800 OBO, if I don't get beat up on the price I'll toss in the stand and a used pair Tech 5 boots(size 11 or 12).

EDIT: 1600 OBO

nice bike. the 2000's still had the good motors, too. my '01 was a rocket!!......g/l with your sale. seems like 2-strokes are coming back in vogue. much more fun and easier to maintain than the thumpers....

Thanks, these bikes do rip pretty good!

I love the 2 stroke bikes, I'm really torn on selling it since I know where this one has been it's whole life. My biggest reason for moving on is the lack of riding buddies anymore. A few of my close friends used to ride but have moved on for one reason or another. My brother and I are the last ones standing. He has a 2006 RMZ 450 and we used to ride together all the time. Between work, kids and everything else it's hard to line up our free time so we can get away. I've only rode 2 or 3 times in the last 3 summers! :(

probably sick of waiting for the rmz to stop overheating every 10 minutes so you can go ride again........

Looks like a nice bike with normal or less than normal wear. Them boots alone were prolly 300-400, no?

Honestly I'm not sure on the boots, if I had to guess I'd say mid 200 or so.

I really like the RMZ, I'm a Honda guy but it's a nice bike. It turns better then the Honda imo. We've rode on some pretty hot days during the summer on some big loops and have never had a problem. It's way too much bike for my taste on the tight trails though, it also doesn't feel right to be riding a 4 stroke! Felt like I was riding a Harley when I've tested it out.

damn, i miss not having a bike........my dough is tied up in my project......hell, i'm even out of things to trade....

I found something I want to buy and my brother says I'm high on the price so lets try 1600 OBO.(without boots) I really don't want to post this on craigslist, I'd rather not have to deal with it!
