80gb is $400 and for the last few weeks you can get a package with one game and one blue ray for $400 even just for everyone info.

True, but the new 80GB dont have ps2 compatibility and I'm guessing the one he has does. Its a shame sony keeps messing with the hardware like that.

No it doesn't, we have long been sold out of the backwards compatible ones. Hell, we only have one of thses left. However, you get the sony HDMI cables which retail for $55, the remote which retails for $25 and 12 free game rentals, games are $9 each so thats $108 in rentals so basically your saving about $90 and getting everything from sony in one package.
