Well since I just joined I thought I'd start a project log. I know this isn't the type of board to post this on, but maybe some of you guys will watch and see why some of us are into the 4 cyl. scene; and appreciate what we do. lol

Anyways I just picked up a 2.2 DOHC motor out of a Honda Prelude. I plan on pushing 500+FWHP and I'm gonna shoot for 10's. The build will be probably over a year or so, I plan on painting the car and shaving the engine bay etc. So I'll keep you guys posted. I work 60+ hours as I am a new cars salesman; So I don't get a lot of time to work on this thing. Also, the car is my Daily right now, so for now I will only be working on the motor and gathering parts for it until I can put it in the garage.

I'm going to save up some dough and send the block out to get sleeved. Then I'm going to pick up some different pistons, the initial build was going to be all motor, so I have some Mahle Gold Series 11.5:1 pistons. But I'm trying to get rid of those, and I'm going to pick up some JE 9:1's to go with instead.

My list so far is:
2.2L Block w/ all other parts
Ported and Polished head
Holset HX-52 Turbo
Probe Forged H Beam Rods
ARP Main Studs

I'm also looking to pick up some Brian Crower Stage 3 NA cams this weekend.
 
Looks like an interesting build-up. I work with a guy that built a turbo'd 1.8L into his Honda hatchback....pretty impressive little car!

Just stay away from the wings and stickers and I think it'll be a cool little ride...
