I have a 1999 Cobra for sale. It is a five speed car. The car runs but I would not reccomend driving it as the motor has a severe knocking sound coming from the bottom end. The block in the car is a Teksid block and is probably fine so could be used as a spare. A second shortblock is inlcuded and is a brand new OEM Ford unit. It is a Teksid block and inlcludes an eight bolt forged cobra crank, rods, pistons, oil pump, pan, etc. This motor has never been run but was torn down at one time and put back together. I usually don't trust someone else's built so I would reccomend it be taken apart and reassembled. All the parts are there.
The car is black on black leather and very clean with absolutely no rust. The body is in great condition with only a couple of door dings behind the driver door. The front cover has been replaced and could probably use a respray but is presentable as is. The paint could probably also use a good wheel job but also loooks OK as is. The car has the stock 17 inch rims. It has the Mach 460 sound system.
I had intentions of fixing this car so removed the hydraboost / master cylinder to pull the motor as well as the exhaust. I have both and both are included with the car. I just have too many projects right now and something needs to go!
I am asking $5,800 for the car and extra motor. Call Mike @ 734-323-66 five four.
I also have a full Dynomax exhaust for the car inlcuding jet hot long tubes, a jet hot X-pipe, and a three inch catback. Those are not inlcuded in the price above. All are brand new and I would be willing to sell with the car for the right offer. I will not sell the exhaust by itself right now so don't ask.
