I am selling our 1999 Ford Explorer Sport Premium 4x4 Automatic. The car is blue with medium graphite leather interior. Car has a clean title and has 118,000 miles. It has the 4.0L SOHC V6 upgrade, Premium package, Comfort Group package, Mach Sound System, and Towing package upgrades. Pretty much every option you can get.
The tires have about 80% tread left and are the Goodyear Assurance Triple Treads (amazing tires cost us $900 last year). The brakes were changed last year and the car had a tune up last year.
This car is in great shape and only has 118,000 miles. The exterior is in great shape with hardly any scratches or chips and the paint still looks good. The interior is in good shape with no holes in the leather. The A/C and heat work great.
The only issues with the car are the center console has a tear in it for some reason but no big deal. The car has one very small rust spot in the rear where the trunk closes. The running boards are also rusted but I was told by a Ford dealer that this is a common issue (can be removed as well). Exhaust is a little loud but no biggie. Sometimes the car idles rough until warm but only sometimes and when the weather is cold, no durability issues though, think the fuel filter needs to be replaced ($10) and may do that in the next day or so
We have all the manuals and the car comes with the original window sticker (30.5k).
Kelly Blue Book and Nada Guides have the car valued at $4,000-4,500. Car is priced well below at $3,000 obo for a quick sale on motown, more on craigslist. Only selling because I bought my wife a new fusion as a Christmas gift.
