Yamaha Banshee ** Trades considered **

Too many toys plus 2 jobs this summer equals no time to ride!!!

I have a very nice 1998 Yamaha Banshee for sale. My asking price is $3K.

It has the following mods:
  • Brand new 4mm stroker crank (371cc), 110mm stock rod length (uses stock pistons)
  • Wiseco pro-lite pistons (stock bore)
  • Fresh gasket kit
  • Boyessen reeds
  • TORS removal & idle kit
  • K&N pod filters with outerwear
  • Toomey T5 bare finish pipes with Toomey silencers and bolt-on spark arrestors
  • Heavy duty clutch with 3 stock springs and 3 HD springs
  • Easy pull clutch lever
  • New DG V-Pro front bumper
  • DG rear grab bar
  • Like new Maxxis Razr II 20x11x9 rears and Maxxis Razr 21x7x10 front tires mounted on stock Banshee wheels
  • New adjustable timing plate (not installed) good for another 2hp increase

Stock plastic is uncut and it has almost all the stock graphics kit still intact. Cylinders are still on the stock bore and look great (low hours).

Not in a hurry to sell it so no low ballers please. Just spent $800+ on engine rebuild with less than 2 hours on break-in (have receipts).

NO TRADES

Picked up an LS-1 long block. Could use LS-1 parts - partial trades :naughty:

Need harness, ECM, intake, fuel system, TB, pulleys, transmission, etc.....

stock head? Stock Cylinder Porting?

I need something for the trails, mines unmanagable on trails.
(didn't want to spend $3k though

Stock head (never milled), stock bore, stock porting.

Just put new plug boots on this past weekend - resistors started to go (common problem).

Selling the Dodge V10 and Banshee, buying a second TB SS. This time a 2wd one for me (AWD for the wife). Something for me to screw around with, and actually use.

Getting out of the off-road truck / quad hobby (at least in the summer months). I work 40+ hrs/week as a engineer and another 35-40 hrs/week making homemade ice cream at our shop. My summers revolve around all work and no play, so I dont't really get to use the Banshee or Dodge.

At least this way, I can enjoy the TBSS driving in between jobs. I'll keep my built YFZ450 around for ice racing in the winter.

Looking to pack up & move closer to family.

$2700 or best offer. As much as I love it, I don't want to take it with me.

That's a killer deal! Shouldn't last long at that price.

I didn't think so either. It's lasted a lot longer than I want it to!

Anyone with a cheaper (and slower) quad want to trade plus some cash on your part? Looking to teach my wife how to drive a manual and ditch her auto clutch Z-250 (eventually).
