Looking to sell my old truck.. have owned it since late 98. It has the normal dodge truck rust from that era (wheel lips, bumpers) but floors and cab/bed floor all solid.. In the 15 years i have owned it i have only ever had to replace a power steering pump, cause the reservoir got a pin hole. and the battery.. other than that it has never given me one issue..
Just before i stopped driving it (got a new car), I replaced all 4 front ball joints.. was getting sloppy. Also front rotors and pads are fairly new..
It drives fine but could use a couple things...
A: needs a serious douche.. and im lazy and dont want to
B: The clutch works fine. but when cold it does tend to chatter bad.. is fine once it warms up.. once again.. lazy and dont want to replace it.. would cost about $300 in parts to replace.
C: Exhaust has a rattle.. sounds like a heatshield but i never found it.. didnt bother me enough..
Other than that i would trust this truck to drive across country... Everything works including AC..
It is a no option vehicle.. which means Manual trans.. no power windows. bare bones work truck.
If anyone would like to see it, i drove it to work today which is at 23/van dyke, after today it would have to be on a weekend or after 6:30pm nightly.
Thanks for looking.. best way to get ahold of me is to email [email protected] thanks
P.S. would trade for a jazzmaster or american tele
