1997 gmc sierra 1500 extended cab 2wd. 217,5xx miles on the body and motor, Transmission was rebuilt at 147,000.
greenish blue in color almost aqua.Tinted windows,Rain Gaurds, Newer tires, Brand New driverside front shock, New starter less then 200 miles ago. new brake pads in the front less then 1000 miles ago along with all the headlight blinker and taillight bulbs less then a month ago. last week i changed the intake gaskets, coolant, motor oil, and throttle position sensor. Motor starts right up and has great oil pressure.
The truck has one problem!!! The transmission shifts into 3rd and the truck just revs then shifts into overdrive and pulls, but only above 2500 rpm. Everyone ive talked to says its an electrical issue because the transmission is electronically shifted.
I want 1200 obo or trade for a ranger, s10, explorer, mountianeer, anything decent on gas that will get me to work and college and back.
