Alrighty guys, i know this is Motown Muscle but along with my Mustang, i also have a civic. Soo dont think im just a guy trying to sell a car on here with out posting...hahaha.. Im up in Port Huron..i post lots in the PH thread...hahaha... Anywho, to get your attention a little bit, car when running good was pulling high 12's with all season tires on it... Not bad for a 4cyl...haha

I ran into a bit of a financial problem so i really need to sell the civic fast!! For those of you who no nothing about honda and think $2300 for a car that isnt running good is too high, ill throw some things out there for you. ALL 92-95 civics came SOHC. 92-95 civics in Japan cam DOHC. This civic has a motor swap and is DOHC now. Thats 170hp, 110trq and the redline is 8900 rpm. DOHC swaps require a good amount of cash to do. It usually ends up being about $2000 dollars just to do the swap. This car also has a turbo kit, running 11psi along with the DOHC. Most setups like this usually make about 290 to the wheels. That makes for a fun little driver. When the car was running, it was pulling high 12's at 105-111mph with crappy 60 ft times on all season tires. Alrighty, if your still interested or know someone who might be, read below for everything you ever wanted to know about this car and more.... ALso, in the pictures you will see the ricer taillights and stuff, those have ALL BEEN CHANGED TO STOCK. I hated the ricer look, i just wanted a pretty fun quick honda.....

First off, car WILL start and you CAN drive it. I wouldnt recomend driving it though on 3 cylinders..... Read on for complete info about car...
Up for sale is a 1995 Honda Civic EX. The car is a pretty clean body car with NO HONDA ROT. The car it self ran and drove very well while i had it for about three weeks. Car was very very quick too! I traded my 97 civic for this car in hopes everything would work out great! Well, it didnt. I had it for about 3 weeks and now the car doesnt run too well. I did a compression test and the numbers were as follows. 90psi,90psi,120psi, and 0psi in the number one cylinder. So, there could be a couple things that could cause this. Im guessing piston rings in all cylinders will need to be replaced ($80 from autozone) and also a headgasket ($60 from autozone). One thing could be that there is a hole in the piston with 0 compression. I dont know for sure, i havnt taken the head off the car to check it out. ANother thing could be that there is a burned up valve and its stuck open. Either way, it could be a cheap fix. Cheap being under or around $500. For a complete bottem end rebuild kit for this car including all gaskets, rings, pistons, rods, everything...it cost $420. But, i dont think that all the pistons and rods are bad. I think that it could just be the rings that need replacing in all the cylinders, a new headgasket, and maybe just replace the one piston, if that piston is even bad. Or, you could swap in another b16 and be done with it. Or even just a bottem end or something. As of now, there is massive amounts of blowby coming out of the valve cover breather so the car smokes A LOT! The car does start up and run right now only on 3 cylinders though. I mean, you can come out and look at it and start it and take it around the block. That tells you right there that the motor isnt seaized up or anything. I will not reccomend driving it long distances at all though. I just would hate to have something break driving it on 3 cylinders. Car itslef has power windows, locks, and sunroof that fully funtions and doesnt leak any water. Passenger side window rolls up slow though. Here is the list of things the car has below.
Motor:
-B16A2, fully stock internals
-High performance plug wires, along with a brand new accell performance coil and all new plugs.
-No powersteering, no AC.
-Cruise control does work!
Turbo Kit:
-SSautochorme turbo mani with t3/t4 turbo flange
-to4e XS Power Trubo
-DSM blow off valve
-ssautochrome wastegate set at 11psi i was told
-DSM 450cc injectors w/ resistor box
-walbro 255 fuel pump
-3 inch down pipe, with 2 1/2 full exhaust all the way back
Managment:
-Chipped ECU running a basemap for the cars setup from Phearable.net with CROME.
- I called phearable.net and told them the setup and everything and they sent me out a basemap to get the car running. Reason i did this is becuae i didnt trust the last chip the car had in it.
Wheels/Suspension:
- 16 inch Enkei RSF-2's. 16x7 +38 offset. Kuhmo ASX tires, %75 tread left.
- Sleeve over coil overs. I dont know brand. Car rids pretty nice and stiff though.
- As for struts, i dont know. I was told they were replaced and nice, im not sure. Car does ride pretty good though.
- Drilled and slotted rear rotors. Green stuff break pads all around.
Interior:
-Interior itself is pretty clean. NO rips or tears. Doesnt smell at all either.
-Integra LS seats. Very nice shape with lower lumbar adjustable support.
- It had a different cd player.
-It could prolly use some new speakers
-Missing carpet in trunk, comes with spare tire also.
Other Things:
- Car has the JDM corner lights on it along with tinted stock taillights. No more ricer stuff like in some of the pictures.
-Car will need new paint. As of now its black, paint is chipping off though and starting to show the stupid blue it was painted before. Original color is red, you can see it in engine bay and doorjams.
Things that come with it:
In hopes to have the car fully painted and everything for the BBQ, i went out and bought all new panels for the car that i felt needed to be replaced. So, all brand new and still wrapped up in the packaging included with the sale is the following items.
-One brand new front bumper, along with a brand new rear bumper.
-One brand new passenger front fender.
-Two brand new inner front wheel liners.
The reason i bought it these is as follows. I bought the rear bumper because the rear bumper on the car has a 3 inch crack and looks like tiny dents in the plastic. I bought the front bumper because in order to fit the HUGE FMIC, the fog light holes needed to be cut out. Well, i wanted fog lights so i bought the new front bumper to try to fit the intercooler better so i could run the fog lights on the new bumper. I bought the fender because this fender is dented. I didnt want to do body work, so i just bought the whole new fender. I bought the inner fender wheel liners becasue the car is missing them.
THINGS THE CAR NEEDS!!!:
- Well, the first thing would be the motor to be looked at. Like i said, worst could be a hole in a piston, best could be just needing new rings.
- Car will need paint. Like i said, its starting to chip.
- Car will need to get tuned once you fix the motor problem. As of now, the car is only running a basemap for the setup. Its never been on a dyno. PLEASE DYNO TUNE THE CAR ONCE ITS RUNNING!
-Windsheild. The windsheild is cracked. You can still drive it, but it needs to be replaced.
- The intercooler piping was welded together. Whoever welded it it looks crappy. THe intercooler piping works fine, but, if your maticulate about things like me, you would redo the intercooler piping and make it look nice.
SO, WHY AM I SELLING IT?????
Well, the reason is this. I know i could spend the extra $500 maybe to get it going again and get more than what im asking for it...but, my mom wont let me. Yup, that the truth, im 18 and my mom said anything i do to the car more from now, she will destroy..hahaha..
She said she wants the car out of the driveway, and she wants it out now. I tried to tell her that with some paint, and the engine back in order i could get some pretty good money for the car. She said too bad, and she wants it gone. So, im just using this money as a down payment for a new car. Its a time in my life when i really cant have a project car. Ill be heading out to university in a few months, so, i cant have something i need to work on. I just need a nice car for school. Time for this little project to goooooo!
Once again, car runs, you can come listen to it and take it around the block if you want....
