Hey guys, im selling the wife's 1995 blazer (i bought her a pontiac montana), i just recently did a bunch of work to it including:
4.3 V6 uses less the 1/2 qt per 3500 and we average 20 mpg with mixed driving
203k miles 2wd but has the 95 only winter start mode that you can select it to start in 2nd gear for less slippage
Trans shifts great, engine runs great, not just for how many miles it has, it runs good even if it only had 50k
New front brakes and bearings.
rear brakes done less the 5k miles ago
new alt.
battery 2k miles ago
new egr valve
i just did a "performance" tune up aka, ngk plugs, 9mm wires, msd coil, cap and rotor
tires have less then 5k on them
very good remote starter (cost 600)
power driver seat w/ lumbar
black cloth interior
Factory trailering package w/ engine oil ooler
engine block heater
am/fm tape
power locks and windows
overhead compartment w/ compass and temp gauge
rear cargo shade
now for the "disclosures"
it has a fair amount of rust on the front bumper and its starting to rust elsewhere (the ONLY hole is the pass side front fender where it looks like a battery leaked acid) it is in suprisingly good condition for this many miles and being 12 years old
The abs only works in the rear, and the light is on, it appears the previous owner cut out the abs on the front, which i dont blame him for, no1 keeps rotors for the thing unless its rear abs only
it could use an exhaust from the cat back, its all there, but its seen better days, but it does make it sound like its got a healthy cam in it.
the remote mirror switch needs to be replaced, it intermittently works, but its more of an annoyance then an actual problem.
This has been a great truck for 2 years but she is wanting something that is easier for our daughter to get into being after the surgery my wife had she can no longer pick her up
(trust me the trailblazer is no easy feat either but its gone come may)
