Hello guys. Ive got a quick, maybe even simple question, but first ill give you the details.

The car had an LT1 in it, we pulled it out to drop an older 383 in it. Well the fuel lines are plastic in the engine bay. Would anybody know what fittings fit in to the quick disconnect feul lines that came with all of the LT1 B-bodys? A guy at the auto store said to use a crush valve, which are normally used for joining 2 steel lines together. I think it would break the plastic. If you have another idea, please let me know! This is one of the last few things i need to do to be able to start the car. Thanks in advance for any help.

assuming your going fuel injected to carburated ? , what i would do is do away with the plastic lines , cut the metal lines ware the metal and plastic meet and then run a steel braided line or just conect another metal line to it and route it ware you need it

No the compression fittings wont work! If you are going to Carb then you have a whole other set of isssues with dealing with the fuel pressure.

The pressure regulation is going to get taken care of. I knew the compression fittings wouldnt work, but he kept insisting they would! Its a crying shame when some people that work at auto stores dont know much about cars. I actually found a site that sells the quick release adapters with AN fittings on the other end. $40 for the kit plus I would have to get a couple of AN fittings to run the hoses to the carb.
